Contact & support
Choose the route that matches your question or concern. Using the right route helps avoid delays.
1. How to use Cohorta
Start with the Member FAQ and Getting started. They provide immediate answers to most questions.
If the answer isn't there, ask in your community's Facebook group. Someone will usually know, you'll normally get a reply faster than anywhere else, and the answer is then there for everyone else wondering the same thing. Ambassadors are members who promote and support Cohorta in the group. They keep an eye on the feed and often help answer these questions.
2. Technical problems
If the app isn't working rather than just confusing, email support@cohorta.me. Tell us what you were doing, what happened, and what phone you're using. These details help us give you an answer far more quickly.
Never post technical problems in the Facebook group, and never send them to your group's admins. They don't run Cohorta and can't fix it, so it only delays you. Technical problems come to the support email and nowhere else.
3. Another member's behaviour
In the app, tap the member's avatar, then Report profile, choose the reason that fits and tell us what happened. The eight reasons, and what happens next, are on Safety & community guidelines.
Every report goes to Cohorta Support. We review every report and a person decides what happens next. Group owners and group admins never receive reports, never see who made one, and never see the evidence. Where there is a concern about behaviour we may ask a group's owner about it, giving only the member's name and the general concern, never who reported them.
Reporting is confidential. If you're unhappy with how it's dealt with, appeal to us at support@cohorta.me, and for anything unsafe or illegal, contact us directly as well.
How to reach us
- In the app: go to Profile → Account → Support to open a ticket.
- By email: support@cohorta.me for anything about the app, your membership or a report. A person handles it.
- Privacy and data requests: privacy@cohorta.me for a copy of your data, a correction, erasure, or any question about how we use it.
What to expect
We read every message and reply within 2 working days. The full complaints route and its response times are on our Reporting & Complaints page.
Safety reports are always prioritised. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the police (999 in the UK) first, then tell us so we can act on the account involved.
For anything about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy. To report a member or raise a complaint, see Safety & community guidelines and Reporting & Complaints.
